Stained Honduras mahogany w/ hand carving

Exterior Door Details:

  • Edge laid core material in both stiles and rails
  • 3/8" to 1/2" outer skin (depending on wood species used)
  • 100% solid wood - no composite or engineered material used
  • 2 1/4" overall thickness or larger - replacement doors may be 1 3/4" thick
  • Thresholds are 1 1/2" to 2" thick white oak or mahogany
  • Threshold weatherstrip is recessed into the bottom of the door and is adjustable without taking the door off of its hinges - there is no weatherstrip on the threshold to step over
  • Ball bearing hinges
  • 1" insulated glass units are used when the design allows
  • 3-point latch system available.  The latch system is American style requiring no upward movement to lock.  Simply turn the locking lever and three deadbolts extend 1" into the door jamb.  3-point latch systems are available for doors from 6'8" - 8'0".
  • Wood carvings are available by Jim Gullickson
  • Stained glass is available by the best artists in the area
  • Doors are manufactured under AIA (Architectural Institute of America) design standards and meet architectural grade specifications
